Thanks everyone for your helpful advice. Defo some food for thought there, I'm also encouraged by how simple you make the BIAB sound so once I have a few extract brews under my belt (literally) :) I'll give the BIAB a try.

Incidentally, where do I get this voile stuff from? Can it be purchased on eBay?

Also thanks for the recipe idea!

Cheers

I got mine from a curtain material stall on our local market, just plain voile. The link that kane posted http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT is still live and as far as I can tell is the stuff you need and it's cheaper than I paid :D

Let us all know how you get on.....

Cheers Tom

Or have a word with Eionmag on here as I think his missus was making some made to measure bags for a small charge.

If your struggling, PM me and I'll sort one for you too if you like...

Cheers for the info beerkiss. I'll defo try and get my hands on some of them bags.
The stockpot arrived this morning :)

This is probably a stupid question but do u need a new bag for each brew or can u reuse the same one?
If so, how do u clean them?

Thanks again for your help and advice.

Cheers
