I'd agree with DaaB, I put up a fence of that sort a few years back and it makes a pukka job. It's not hard really - just need to make yourself a good template/gauge to help with spacing each board equally - oh and a big bag of ring-shank nails... You can ge the feather-edge boarding from Jewsons/Travis Perkins a damn site cheaper than from any of the DIY stores.

I have steeped crystal and chocolate malts before so i am keen to see what difference it makes,as for the flaked maize i saw it in the HBS so i got me some!!

You're supposed to be infallible, DaaB.

Just checked the gravity and its 1.019 ,will check again in 2 days!
The sample didnt have a strong crystal or chocolate malt taste to it(like they have when i steeped some grain before) but the malts are what i aquired with the job lot from ebay, they had been opened i dont know when?so i imagine they have lost some flavour, plus the crystal seems very light and has no rating on the packet.
Not a bad thing as the hop aroma came through ok(may be tempted to dry hop a beer again in the keg..another 20g's of northern brewer should do it!)as im sure more aroma will be lost during further fermentation and conditioning.
