Don't forget the wonders of youtube. I've enjoyed many a tuition session on youtube including the very time-consuming decoction mash method (ignore that, it's all grain).

This is the video Bible of extract brewing in my opinion.
When i started out extract brewing I watched this over and over again until it stuck in my head, pretty much teaches you everything you will need to know, its brilliant.
Remember the Americans work with Farenheit ^^ so watch your temperatures. However there are popup tabs with the conversions in the video so you should see these.
