If you already have basics nailed through kit brewing etc and know sanitation and fermentation then I'd head straight for BIAB, it's easy and so so rewarding. Also the price difference is immense, I am working through 2kg of hops that I bought for 40 euros or so, and I have just ordered 50kg of malt for 30 quid, the equivalent amount of malt extract would have cost 120 squids, that said it is a bulk buy with the Irish forum buying a ton of malt, but none the less the savings are massive even buying it from a home brew shop.

Apart from savings the beers are so much better, I'd personally say that all-grain is far superior to extract, but then I didn't hang about long with extract and got into all-grain very fast by making larger and larger mini mashes until it was all grain all of a sudden, the transition took about three brews.
