I'm just trying to work out which is the best for extract brewing flowers or pellets?
cheers
hop flowers or pellets?
Re: hop flowers or pellets?
The pellets are made up of compressed ground up hop, so unless you have a way of keeping all those tiny bits out of your fermenter stick to the flowers.
In or near Norwich? Interested in meeting up monthly to talk and drink beer? PM me for details.

Re: hop flowers or pellets?
flavourwise, I can't really tell the two apart. I only have access to pellets but whenever I'm back in England, I always stock up on flowers.
The main difference is flowers are easier to work with when filtering your beer. Pellets take up less room when storing in the freezer than flowers and supposedly stay fresher for longer.
