15Ltrs and very sturdy for just £21 off ebay, they also have 11 ltr. The make is Vinod. I'll post a link if anyone is interested.

First extract brew won't be too far away now!

Congrats, I got a stockpot this weekend too, and I'm just sizing up my first extract brew. Hoping to get it going on Sunday!

Excellent! Which recipe are you going for? I think I'm going to try a Summer Ale kit from BrewUK.

Thinking of going with the Hob Goblin clone from the recipes thread on here. Big fan of Hob Goblin, and it seems reasonably fool proof. Just need to get the ingredients delivered on Saturday, willing to pay the extra cost to make sure I can brew this week and it's the only day I'll be in!

Nice, that seems to be a popular recipe. I'll have to give it a go sometime but I'll probably wait a while. I'm looking to brew some lighter beers for spring/summer.

Fair enough, I've only heard great things about the Summer Ale so no doubt you will get some nice beer out of that! I'm hoping the tweaked Coopers IPA I'm mini-kegging this evening comes out good as I'll happily make up multiple batches of that for summer going on the taste after dry hopping!
