I'm assuming you're talking about the 7.5% Extra Strong Vintage Ale? Your url doesn't work.

Necessitates using two kits, resulting in less beer. 2 Ditch's Special Reserves gives a 6 gallon yield rather than this one's 5 gallon. Even as a special reserve, I think it might be a little pricey and a lot of hassle.

That looks interesting. Depends how much the Coopers Dark ME is.

Yeah sorry the Mr sinister recipe. And I reckon the coopers extract could be substituted.use any dark extract or a kilo dme

From a technical point of view I thought the cold " mashing" of the roast barley was interesting

His normal stout, accidentally short brewed to 3 gallon iirc...apparently its one for the connoisseurs
