Hey now that sounds interesting! I'd be concerned about them introducing bugs from them being unboiled, but I imagine they'd really add a fantastic new dimension.

So, I've just bottled this tonight after 2 weeks in the fermenter. It's turned out a little weaker in alcohol than I'd aimed for but.......... it tastes absolutely great! Out of the fermenter it's got a fantastic flavour (had a sneaky half while bottling :) ) and I hope that's just going to develop and get even better!

I'm now regretting only doing the 15 litres; I think I might do 5 gallons next and keg it. There is, as feared, no chance that this batch will see summer!
