Priming Sugar

Post by matti » Sat May 13, 2006 3:18 pm

Hi all,
Im currently brewing Yorkshire Terrior and am going to be putting it in the keg in a few days, According to the box i need to add 85 grams of light spraymalt (or brewing sugar). The thing is that getting to the brew shop to pick up either is going to be a bit difficult.

Is there an alternative that i can use thats available from supermarkets. What do you reccomend.

Thanks

I've used normal cane sugar before at the priming stage so I'd do that.

yep, glucose is best, plus it disolves more easily. i actually got a box of glucose from asda once, but that was a while ago.
