When to keg

Post by matti » Wed May 17, 2006 11:34 am

My brew has been in the fermentor no for 6 days (recommended 4 - 6 on instructions) but i can't test the gravity because i don't have a hydrometer. The airlock is bubbing about once a minute. Is it too early to keg it?
Thanks

I would leave it a few more days to be on the safe side, Matti, as it's obviously still actively fermenting.

Also, a few more days in the fermenter will allow more yeast to settle out in there rather than ending up in the keg.
