Hi fisherman

With your ingredients, I'd go with a simple English ale along the lines of (off the top of my head):

2.5kg spraymalt (medium or dark, not much flavour difference, just colour)
150g crystal (raise or lower it depending on how sweet/biscuity you like your beers)
20g Fuggle, 20g Golding whole boil
10g Fuggle, 10g Golding at 10 mins.

Gives OG 1042, 28 IBU.

I've done similar (with Challenger for bittering as it's a high alpha-acid, but no matter) and it's come out beautifully.
Of course the joy of extract is that you can play around with the ingredients to your heart's content, so if you like a bitterer beer, then increase the quantities of the whole boil hops, if you like it stronger then put a tad more spraymalt in (3kg in this recipe will make an OG of 1050, if you do this you could increase the bittering hops to balance the malt).

Experiment away. Let us know how you get on!
