Brupaks Brewers Choice IPA

Hello guys

I'm quite new to the brewing game but have just kegged my 3rd batch into my top tap pressure keg.

I left it in the primary for 10 days and the bubbles had all stopped all but the odd one or two if you touched the bin and yes I'm a numpty and don't own a hydrometer so its a bit of guess work.

There was a nice gluey yeast sediment in the bottom and the brew was really clear but....

It tastes a bit watered down /sweet, no horrible flavours but a bit lacking. Now I am not sure if this means its a bit under fermented?

If it is under fermented will this be causing the sweet taste or would there be something else causing it? And... also now its in the keg if I keep him warm for a further week will it finish fermenting out ok with the lid /seal on or should I leave it off?

Thanks for your help!!!

Marc

well worked this one out for myself. i put a 1/2 pint of priming juice in the bottom of the keg and this was in the float /tube hence why it tasted of sugary water.... took a quarter pint off and now it tastes like beer!!!

one more week in the warm with the lid on and then a week in the cool and it'll be game on!!!
