CLOUDY BEER AND POOR BELLY
Re: CLOUDY BEER AND POOR BELLY
Suck it and see, often. You will also get to see, smell, feel, taste then feel again the changes as your beers develops from a green beer to a beer and on if your lucky.
What did you brew?

Re: CLOUDY BEER AND POOR BELLY
gut rot and squitters are usually down to you not being used to such a large amount of active yeast in the beer
a few of my mates have sampled a few young beers and said they had the squitts that night (nothing bad and all over in 1 hour or so
) remember that most beers you normal drink will have nearly all the yeast out of suspension by the time you drink it.
i think i could drink beer half way through fermentation and be ok! (far to much time back packing around the thirdworld have left me with a slightly harder constitution!)

Re: CLOUDY BEER AND POOR BELLY
If I can say, our digestive system is pretty good so is relatively unlikely to suffer from beer with yeast in it. We drink many beers wuth yeast in anyway, such as the wheat beers where you swirl the yeast into the drink. I hae just made a brew with a light malt extract and citra hops and it tasted at its best when it was still cloudy, and I had no after effects ... but I did sway a bit, wobble a lot when walking, and talked utter rubbish for ages. Sigh ...
Currently Drinking: Marris Otter with home roasted porridge oats, shredded wheat, crystal and black malt, EKG hops and Nottingham yeast. Smooth, dark, and rich - put some aside for Xmas.
Currently Drinking: Bohemian Pilsner with porridge oats, shredded wheat and basmati rice, along with Saaz hops, mandarin zest, coriander, cardamon pods and Munich yeast. Silky on the mouth with a wonderful summer taste. Love this brew!
