Planning my first extract brew

Post by Rahlon » Thu May 17, 2012 11:36 pm

I want to move on to brewing with extracts and I'm look for a bit of advise on a recipe to start with. (I'm hoping to move to all grain by the end of the year) I tried out the brewdog IPA is Dead range a few months ago and I'm really quite keen on Galaxy hops, does anyone have a good IPA recipe featuring them? Preferably a simple recipe with it being my first extract brew.

Hi Rahlon,

I'm no expert (with a single extract brew under my belt I'm quite the opposite) but I'll grab my copies of Palmer's How to Brew and Daniel's Designing Great Beers, hit up BeerEngine and throw something together. I'm sure some of the more experienced members here can have some fun picking it apart.
