Leaking tin of LME??

Post by Monkeybrew » Tue May 29, 2012 3:43 pm

Hi, I ordered a couple of 1.5kg tins of Brewferm Light LME a couple of months ago, and now that I have finally come to use one of them, I've noticed that a very small amount of the contents is leaking from around the top edge of the tin!

Is it likely to be no good, or should I open it and see how it tastes?

How long has it been leaking for and how does it taste?

Cheers

You'll be fine. It's ridiculously concentrated sugar, so long as you can still get it in the boil one way or another, it'll be okay :)
