hi all santa has been very kind bought me a boiler and brew your own recepie book cant wait to brew my first extract :D
soon be dead thank beer for that no pain where im going :-)

here's my recipe (32 litres):

2kg sugar
1 bag of straw
hops optional (not required)

I did a slightly modified version of Hopback Summer Lightning from Brew Your Own British Real Ale. My LHBS didn't have the Challenger hops from the recipe so the guy recommended Northern Brewer instead. I chose that recipe as it didn't need any additional grains, just LME and hops. Next one will be a bit more involved I think.

Had a sneaky taste while siphoning and was more bitter than I expected - heard that will mellow later on so fingers crossed.

Enjoyed the process. Looking forward to doing a lot more of it.

realy like that brew from bottle or pump its deffinatly on my summer list :D
