How much hops for dry hopping?

I've been doing my first extract brew over the last week or so. I've actually managed to hit the proper FG, which I think might be an achievement in its own right for an extract brew. :o :)

Drank the contents of the trial jar and it tastes great, will be even better after its conditioned.

Although I'm getting the bitterness from the hops, there isn't a huge hop aroma and I'd like to increase it, but I really don't want to go mad and I don't want the aroma to be over powering.

I've got some whole dried EKG hops I could use for dry hopping. What weight would you recommend in a 19l brew to just lift it a bit?

Do you put them in a hop bag and weigh it down with something?

Cheers! :D

I would add about 30g of EKG if I did not want the aroma too heavy.

Just boil your hop bag for 10 or 15mins to sanitise it along with whatever you are using to weigh it down.
