Is there a gauge/size/weight I should look for?

Here you go Nick. Might help. If youre looking for an easy hop bag,go poundland,buy pack of the meshy washing up cloth
Snip off a corner,shove hops in and tie up.with bit string
I've found it works well

That's the stuff, good price as well. The Brine Injector F Dick raised a school boy smile.
Thinking about using it for grain bags and straining the wort. It can also be used for paint straining etc. at work so will be multi purpose. Bonus.
