Yes 1010-1015 is right. I prime with sugar, mix the whole lot in with the beer before bottling after boiling it in a little water. Precise amount of sugar. I think one drop per 500ml bottle should be ok. May take longer to reach a good carb level, someone else will advise.

If you want to use the Cooper's drops then one will be fine per 500ml bottle, just be certain that your ferment it done before you go ahead and bottle, check your gravity 3 days running to be sure that you are done.

SG is at 1014 . Will check again tomorrow but definitely seems like there's nowt going on . Tastes canny as well That'll be 9 days fermenting by then .

Quick update complete with pics , took about 8-9 days to clear in the bottles . The beer has turned out really close to what I was aiming for , it's a well hopped effort with a slight caramel/toffee hint to it , only slight gripe is that it hasn't got as much body as I'd hoped . Overall really pleased with my first effort and already planning the next brew day for my days off work next week .
And they wonder why we drink ...
