primary FV for 8 days and still bubbling

Post by dazzla42 » Sun Jul 27, 2014 4:52 pm

Hi
I have completed a few extract kits all very different, and currently doing a youngs American IPA. its the strongest beer i've brewed, so guess the time active in the primary should not be a surprise. Its been 8 days and still bubbling. the SG was 1.057, have not checked the gravity since, but cannot see any focculation yet (opaque FV). am i being impatient?

Yes. Might just a slow burner. Flocculation rarely happens with me until at least 10days. Relax and have a homebrew..!

Welcome to JBK, Linus! :)

Since you've asked a brewing question, I'm going to move this post into a more appropriate place.
