a few kits and extract with grains under my belt. just with the tips on here have come on with each one. 1st was , add a week at least on any kit recipe. right heres my query. brewed with in a week or two, 4beers . 2 english with notty and gervin? wilcos .same? and 2 a p a/s with safale 04. same amount of sugar at priming.the1st bitter took minutes to pour and had a head like mister whippy.the yank ale poured nice , bit of head. so it a yeast thing,or do kits want to make english bitters like boddingtons? or is it a sugar calc. i.e . if using notty . slash a 5th off the sugar when priming. cheers
