Well, no surprises- it worked! 9.25kg in two BIAB bags (never doing that again!) yielded 28L of 1.065, plus 0.84kg sugar and dilution equates to around 44L of 1.054 in fermenters- precisely what I was after!RdeV wrote:I've just bought a 36L kettle and burner and plan to do MaxiBIAB doubles (after two years of Stovetop brewing I think I've done enough 19L singles!), hoping to yield around 50L of 1.050 in the fermenter from about 10kg.
