Relatively new to BIAB, (although i dont feel it - planning stages for approx 2 years!) having just done my second, and first non-disastrous brew at the weekend.
The long wait and setbacks has left me seriously impatient though - Well everyone's impatient at the start anyway, but having kicked off with a Vanilla Porter that i know is going to require some aging to get its full potential i'd like proper brew no.2 to be drinkable in the least amount of time possible - ideally pre/in time for Christmas.
Any suggestions very greatly appreciated.
I've got a decent stock of bits and pieces but not enough Pale to do anything with so i'll have to put an order in anyway, so no considerations on that front.
Personally i lean toward darker/full flavoured beers (I'm not one for quantity of liquid, so i like my flavours concentrated
but i understand the more complex, the more aging generally required so happy to overlook personal preferences for the sake of quenching this near painful thirst.Many thanks in advance,
