mash hopping with wilds

Post by timbo41 » Wed May 08, 2013 10:34 am

Planning a little brewday tomorrow yeehar!
After reading through a few recent Seymour threads thought idtry a new technique. Going to mash in with about 100g of the wilds I found last year and froze. Because of the uncertainty factor,I will then bitter upto 30 ibu with belma 11%
,so whatever the wilds impart hopefully wont push the bitterness boundaries.
Thoughts any one?
oh grainbill will be pale malt, maize and caragold, not run through beer engine yet
Thinking stylewise an.esb
mm just a thought elderflowers out yet? Might be a nice extra addition
Just like trying new ideas!
