Your favourite summer lager BIAB recipies please.

Post by bigchris » Sun Apr 13, 2014 6:12 pm

Not generally much of a lager drinker, but been spending some time in India recently for work. Kingfisher is the beer out there that I have enjoyed so thought I'd have a go at a 40 pint batch of lager, starting now so ready for english summer (Those 4 days at the end of June) :D

Anyone have a BIAB recipe for a simple Indian Style lager, not too strong in alcohol.

TIA

Chris

Hi Chris

Not a lager brewer so I can't help you on an actual recipe unless you want a Munich helles, what I would say is that any recipe can be brewed using the biab method so don't hinder yourself thinking that BIAB has to be in the recipe title. An AG recipe is an AG recipe be it 3V or Biab.

Seconded. I think there are a few recipes for this and cobra amongst others, seem to recall that rice was an important ingredient. Not tried it myself.
