I been back to brewing kits again bit I'm getting itchy feet to get a biab going.
I live in an apartment with a balcony so could have the patio door wide open or boil outside.
Does anybody else brew in a similar abode?
I'm looking for a 40l buffalo boiler if I can find one at the right price.

yep. i brew in the bathroom, bit of wood across the bath is my brew bench, water close at hand, and any spills go straight down the plug hole. Also the boiler is just the right height to sit a fermentaion bucket in the bath below the boiler.

Yep, but I have quite a large place with a massive kitchen/dining room. I also have a decent sized cupboard which is pretty constant in temperature for storage/fermenting, but I do have the room for a fermentation fridge in the spare bedroom which will be used before next summer. I'd like a balcony though.
Let's all go home, pull on our gimp suits and enjoy life

I built a work surface on my balcony and put a tap outside. Brewed biab and had no problem at all.
had a few storage cuboards where i put shelves up etc and did all my fermenting in there
and also had room for a kegerator aswell
