0.50 kg Wheat, Torrified Grain 2 9.8 %
0.25 kg Caramel/Crystal Malt Grain 3 5.0 %


in 29l water for 60min at 69°c

54.61 g Fuggles [4.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 4 34.1 IBUs
16.80 g Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 5 11.7 IBUs
8.40 g Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] - Boil 15.0 min Hop 6 2.9 IBUs
4.50 g Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] - Boil 0.0 min Hop 7 0.0 IBUs

Target OG: 1.048 SG
Target FG: 1.014 SG

this is my plan for my first brew in a bag recipe, i've seen a few similar ones and thought id give it a bash. should be starting sometime next week once i've made a trip to my LHBS to get the ingredients. does anyone have any suggested improvements or changes i should make before i make a start?

BIAB recipes should be no different from other ones - the only difference is that the mash is done in a bag rather than a plastic cool box. Maybe too much wheat?

Looks like a good old fashioned ESB. Nice!
I might shift your first goldings addition to later in the boil. You're looking at near 50 ibu there . Fine if you like it quite bitter
