Looks like a good deal for BIAB Starter

Post by davew » Tue Oct 13, 2015 4:31 pm

Has anyone tried this BIAB starter kit from The Homebrew Company?

It looks like a good deal to get started with BIAB.

I ordered this to replace my soup pan set up, planning to do the brew along as its maiden voyage so will let you know how it is.

This is the order that I got. I paid £99.41 for the lot from the .ie site. So it worked out somewhat cheaper all together.

I went for MO, but now I'm wishing I got a couple different to be honest. Guess I'll have to do another shop soon *whistle*

If (when) you get hooked and are looking for bulk supplies I found these quite reasonable: http://www.murphyandson.co.uk/murphyand ... ducts.html

The postage was £15 for 50kg malt. Most other places charge more for postage which pushes the price up.

Afaik Murphys no longer supply to the home brew market. I used to pick some stuff up from there.

Yea, the Homebrew link on their site is dead but just order as normal through their website.
