My latest try has been a really vigorous ferment. I had to use a blow-off tube on the first evening tbh. After it slowed down enough to use an airlock I noticed the colour of the wort change a lot. It became cloudier and darker. It's still fermenting strongly but I'm concerned about the change. The yeast is still moving in suspension , but not as vigorously. I'm not going to mess about with it until at least 3 weeks.
