Brew pot size.

Would a five gallon (19 liter) brew plot be large enough to do a three gallon batch?
I'm just here for the beer.

Rookie,
Is this a trick question?
I am sure you have been brewing long enough to know your volumes! #-o

I would say Yes, but what do I know, just being a lowly HomeBrew Festival 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizewinner 2017! [-X

Not so much a trick question as I may have to switch to biab and didn't really think before posting.

yes but a 33l or 50l pot from a german ebay.fr seller could be cheaper than a uk sourced 19l pot.. (If yoyr looking at the wilko stock pot you may also need to reseal its handel rivits to maximise its usable volume.

here is an email addy for a seller i have bought a number of pots from Catering-Portal.Bergland@msg.afterbuy.de search ebay.fr for 'innox marmite 50l" to see other sellers you could contact.. the off ebay price is often cheaper inc delivery to the uk than the ebay.fr 'local delivery' price due to savings of no ebay fee..
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(
