50g, lol, 10g, lol, surely it's down to taste. You like it hoppy, go mad, you like a back note of late, then be conservative. You like a middle of the road hoppiness, then don't think American. As the slogan goes, "Add to taste". Trial end error really.

15 - 20 grams will serve you well. You may want to put them in a hop bag though, as they clogged my syphon when I put them in loose. Boil the muslin bag for 15 minutes, and also boil some glass marbles to go inside and weight it down. Then just put in your hops, tie it up and drop it in.

Be careful if boiling marbles. I found a few cracked on me when boiling.

Another suggestion would be a shot glass.
