Lever in the up position, twist the coupler onto the keg, then press the lever down to engage
Twist first then press . . .it should be a mantra wne putting the couplers on . . .of course when taking them off it is the reverse

Make sure you have a stopper in the beer out connector, or have a tap connected, switched off.

My initial thought to that Steve was . . ."Well Duh!!" . . .but then I have remembered the occasions I have given myself a shower attaching a corny disconnect . . .Yeah you can't really get that one wrong can you?Runwell-Steve wrote:Make sure you have a stopper in the beer out connector, or have a tap connected, switched off.

I've done similar. I have filled a corny, then connected it to the gas supply to force carb only to discover I have forgotten to put the poppet back in the beer out post. What size John Guest goes on the top?
I got a 10mm and it was a tad to small
