Hi all, just to say hi and ask a question. just getting to my bottling stage and looking for an easier way to cap. I have used bottle stoppers with levers in the past to keep wine and so on fresh. So just wondering if its possible to use for bottling and if anyone has used them or just no. thanks all and I will let you all know how my first ever brew goes.

My first brew. bottle stoppers with lever
Re: My first brew. bottle stoppers with lever
I would be dubious as to the amount of pressure they can hold.
Re: My first brew. bottle stoppers with lever
I doubt those stoppers would work either.
Do a search for flip-top beer bottles. These are great but hard to find or expensive to buy new.
I've accumulated enough for 2 regular batches now so must be nearly 90 bottles but it has taken a couple of years and I know a few Germans

Cheers for the advice. I did think it would be too easy. I will let you know how I get on. But I will do that on another post in a more appropriate location. .
