Max psi I 3/16 line & JG fittings

Post by subfaction » Fri Aug 01, 2014 3:35 pm

Hi guys,

I've decided to puss out and not drill holes in my fridge instead I'm going to get co2 into it via a 3/16 line through the drain hole. I was planning on stepping down from 3/8 on both sides, any issues with doing this? What's the max kind of psi I can safely push through that diameter?

seems ok at 25psi so far, I'll report back if there's any issues. Might be handy for those like me who fear the fridge drilling.

I beleive jg fittings are rated upto about 100 psi. I have used 3/8 beer lind and jg fittings to force carb at 45 psi no problems

Thanks Paul, I was worried that the smaller 3/16 fittings might not be up to the job, but they appear fine :) great option for those not wanting to drill their fridges!
