Too much carbonation in king keg

Post by dazzla42 » Tue Aug 12, 2014 7:29 pm

Hi there
I have only been brewing for a short time, so not sure where to go with this, i have done several kits either into my king keg top tap, or bottles, and just finished a youngs American IPA with a set amount of priming sugar. I transferred it to my king keg and commandeered the spare fridge to chill it to 12deg for conditioning. after a nail biting week, i thought i would try it. lovely brew, but way frothy coming out, is there any way of controlling ths?

Help!

If you still have the original barrel tap on the keg try attaching a short piece of silicone pipe enough to reach the bottom of your glass. This can help with the pour if you fill the glass from the bottom up.
Like so (not my pic)

Thanks Buckie

Tried it with some sterilised garden hose, and i can pour a perfect pint, amazingly simple but effective. will get some 1/2" PVC, which is useful to keep anyways.

thanks for your help!

cheers
