9L cornie post o-ring replacements

Post by mb » Sun Jul 26, 2015 5:42 pm

i have a 9L cornie bought from norm a few years back, the original o-ring has split and i've replaced it with a spare but it leaks when gas is connected. it doesn't leak when i take the disconnect off and it holds pressure so i'm assuming that the fault is with the o-ring.

the uk based spares suppliers just seem to supply a single size of o-ring, i've used these on standard sized kegs with no problems but it looks like the small kegs need something different (the dip tube o-rings are noticeably smaller on the 9L kegs).

has anybody had to replace the o-rings on a small keg? any suggestions for where i can source spares appreciated.

I would get in touch with norm. If he can't supply them I'm sure he can point you in the tight direction

I have a couple of 9L corny kegs and some 19L. I often clean them together, so the bits get mixed up. I haven't had any issues. They should be the same as the 19Ls. Have you tried swapping the disconnect?
