King Keg Problem

Post by Gandolf » Sun Aug 09, 2015 9:58 pm

I have 5 KK's and been brewing for some 7 plus years with reasonable success. However the last 3 brews in the KK's have gone sour.
6 months ago I started bottling at least 6x 500ml bottles from every brew and they are fine, so it is confined to the kegs.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Thanking you in advance.

Thanks Orlando

I have never used bleach before therefore should I use it neat or dilute and if so by how much.

With regard rinsing would say 5 times be enough.

Should I then use any other product or just my normal VWP steriliser before filling.

Regards

After a rinse or two with plain water rinse with a a few litres of water with a campden tablet dissolved in it.

What he said but your nose is a good guide. Use thin unperfumed bleach and dilute.

Use Milton fluid, good enough for babys bottles rather than just straight bleach.
