Kegging

Post by bquiggerz » Sat Dec 26, 2015 10:31 pm

Evening everyone,

So far I have a chest freezer and will be ordering my kegs this week. I'm wondering what else is needed for a functioning keezer. Regs, lines, taps, gas, etc. Anyone have any suggestions where I can get this stuff cheap but decent quality?

Thanks,

Ben.

Hello mate,

It depends how you want it served, tap, font or beer engine? Will you be using Sanky kegs or Cornie kegs?

Where are you getting your kegs? They can probably help out with all the other stuff you'll need.
I'm just here for the beer.

I'm getting hem from a fellow home brewer. Getting most of the stuff I need from him, gas is seemingly the hardest thing to source here. I'm just looking to go basic taps and may upgrade some time in the future.

I use a fire extinguisher. Went for a 5kg, but I should have gone smaller. Phone around the companies and ask if they'll sell to the public and refill.
Let's all go home, pull on our gimp suits and enjoy life
