Is there a way to work out how much suger to use for bottling? I boil water and suger together, let it cool then add it to a bottling bucket before adding beer to the syrup.
The reason I ask is that Ive cracked a bottle of 70 shilling open which I added 25grm of suger with 250ml water for priming. I got 9.5 x 500 ml from my brew.

Suger for Bottling
Re: Suger for Bottling
There are several online beer priming calculators,
Here is one http://www.brewersfriend.com/beer-priming-calculator/
I usually go with approx a level tsp per 500ml bottle works well for me, or 40g for 10 x 500ml bottles, but a lighter beer needs a little more than a stout say.

How long did you leave them in the warm?
Try them somewhere warm again for a week or so and see if that helps.
