Anyone know what this please? It came with a little c02 cylinder I bought. It was attached to the gas disconnect. It's marked cmb 168.04 doesn't seem to be a current part as a Google revealed nothing. I'm not using it because I don't know what it is and I have my own regulator setup to replace the parts that came with this cylinder.

I think you will find the first pic'y is a non return valve, Ie liquid can't be sucked/pushed back from the keg.

A lot of regulators have no gauge, especially commercial types that are pre-set for a specific pressure and/or have a technician visit periodically to check things (rather than the bar staff). You can get/arrange in-line gauges, but otherwise you may well be wise to avoid using it without being able to verify the pressure, if it was from a cornelius syrup setup it may not be at all suitable for beer.
