Yes you can do it that way. Serving pressure will depend on the temp you like your beer and how many vols you like.

Eg. 2.43 vols @ 5c, you need 12PSI.

I leave the gas connected all the time. Just make sure you got no leaks.

So just set temp to 5. Gas to 12 and just leave like that and jobs a good'n no need to touch it or release any gas before serving.

Yea that's it. The slow carbonation method, which will get you to the exact vols of CO2 and temp, straight to serving.

Once you've done it a couple of times you'll get the hang if it.

Right I'm going to do that. Crash it down to 5 for a day or two. Transfer to corny for 5 days at that and hopefully serving chilled fizzy ale from tap. I live in hope.
