Suremix 50

Post by gmlogan » Fri Jul 01, 2016 8:15 pm

Got a BOC account now and wondering about using SureMix 50 (50/50 co2 & nitrogen)
1) same regulator???
2) any differences in forced carbonation, eg 12psi at 4c for 2.5 carbs etc??

Thanks

How many kegs are you serving from at a time? you may find a boc contract a Very expensive option. Ive run 3-4 kegs, and a 6.5kg co2 bottle is about a 2 year supply.. at a total cost of less than £25 . The downside is some agents charge a bottle deposit some dont, Andover patio center dont for example so you walk in with £25 and walk out with a full bottle of co2 ;)

as for using mixed gas, outside my experience im afraid but unless your after brewing a lot of stouts or brewing smoothflow clones i wouldnt bother.
ist update for months n months..
