Just spotted these on the Malt Miller site, and wondered if anyone has got one in use, as they look very similar to a Crusader keg, but are a little cheaper which is always good and Rob has also got some dinky 10L versions too?
Cheers

Sourced from china I think. The 10L ones are very tempting! Must resist or the wife will kill me

Cheers and gone,

I like the look of the 10L one's, I'm thinking they could be good for splitting a strong porter or stout between bottle and keg.......mozza wrote:Sourced from china I think. The 10L ones are very tempting! Must resist or the wife will kill me

i've had some of the 10l ones for the last couple of years, and also some of the 20l crusader ones. the welding/finishing on the crusader ones is a lot better quality but i've not had any practical issues with the 10l ones. infact they're my most used, love them. already ordered some more from rob

dazzled, doused in gin..

Malt miller only got them in a couple of days ago. 10s seem good but the price difference is minimal
Re: Anyone tried these Malt Miller 20L Sankey Kegs?
The 10L ones that Rob has are meant to be as good a qualty as the Crusader ones, so e.g. no dodgy finishig on the handle bit as the top.jaroporter wrote:i've had some of the 10l ones for the last couple of years, and also some of the 20l crusader ones. the welding/finishing on the crusader ones is a lot better quality but i've not had any practical issues with the 10l ones. infact they're my most used, love them. already ordered some more from rob

ok cool, will be good to compare, i'll update in a week or so when i get back home to them. either way, as said, it has only seemed to be an [slight] aesthetic issue anyways.
