Any advice would be appreciated

It does not help the beer last longer, pubs use it to transfer long distances with higher pressures from the cellar without over carbonating the beer. Basically you are paying more for less.Jayhill wrote:Sorry I’ll be clearer, my keg is stored at about 15 degrees I used mixed gas as its a home bar therefor low dispense volume ..The pubs use CO2 because they turn over a lot of beer smaller outlets use mixed because it help the beer last longer.
It runs the the cooler and comes out very cold and have the gas set at 23 psi and seems ok but didn’t know if to increase or decrease the pressure to improve the pint.
Thanks
