Thanks for the link to your thread and that looks a great upgrade for the bog standard plastic tap. I now need to decide whether I go down this route or use a Dalex tap. I've got two pressure barrels, so maybe I'll try different taps on each one. I feel there will some mods on the way very soon, so no more leaky taps!

Well it looks like this is finally coming good! Its taken bloody ages to condition, but the flavour is definitely improving with time. I've read that the more hops you add to beer, the longer it can take to condition. I dry hopped with 50g Citra, also added 500g of brew enhancer at start of brew, so I guess that could explain why its taken longer to condition. Anyway its nice and clear now and really different to the last batch of Wilko Golden Ale that I brewed a couple of years back.

Ps anyone know why it puts the photo on its side when you add a photo as a file?

depends on how your adding it, if via a hosting site like flickr or photo bucket try orientating the pic correctly in the album before sharing it, if its on your local HDD and uploaded directly, open in a simple graphics app like paint and rotate the picture 90 degrees before saving as a new file, and upload again.
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(

Hi Fil, I attached straight from my mobile by using the "attach file" link under the reply box. I even tried spinning it by 90 and 180 degrees, but each time it ended up on its side once uploaded. Next time i'll try using the methods you've described. Cheers, Adam

When you've rotated the photo it hasn't actually changed it but simply tagged it as rotated. Your phone knows how to display it but that info is lost when you upload.
