I would rather have a smaller minimum order so have emailed both Portinox and the best friends (in original post) Swiss office. So see what they come up with. If anyone is interested I have a company that sells laptop accessories that used to do well but the market is now flooded with stuff so possibly looking to add home brew stuff on the side. I also have a 1BBL pilot brewery so that helps to.

Just make sure you get a better quality finish on the handles from the BestFriends company.

You might also want to enquire if they sell the 25l slim kegs, which might prove popular.

Just got a call from Portinox and it sounds promising, the stock is in Spain so he will check what they have and let me know tomorrow. If they are out of stock in Spain there will be a minimum order of 50.

That's sound great, I wonder if they get them in semi regularly.

one of mine also has a small patch of rough welding on the interior. should think it'd be okay with a proper solid cleaning routine, but it's still more than i'd like and something that suggests quality control isn't totally up to scratch..

OK this is what I have. Portinox have no 10L in stock so min order 50 they have 9 x 15L in stock in Spain. I can offer 3 options if enough people want to move forward.
1. if at least 4 people want to be guinea pigs and test the 15L I can offer them at £72 each inc. VAT and delivery this is a no profit for me option so no refunds unless they don't turn up or are totally non functional. Delivery will be around 2 weeks
2. If people want at least 20 between them I can offer the 10L @ £85 inc. VAT & delivery this gives me a small profit the remainder will go on Ebay etc at £100 ish. Delivery will be approx 2 months
3. If people want 50+ between them I will order the NDL ones through crusader and they will be £6 cheaper than above.
Prices include S Type spears, keg specs here the slim 237 http://portinox.com/containers/beverage ... steel_kegs

I think 3 is not realistic but could be wrong and 1 is the better option if anyone has any interest in 15L kegs. I assumed S type spears are what people use please correct me if I got this wrong. Anyone interested please let me know your initial thoughts and I will work out how to proceed. If anyone wants 20L crudader kegs or any other standard kegs or casks I can likely get them very slightly cheaper than Brew UK.

Thanks for your hard work, I would certainly have a couple of 10l kegs (sankey 's') if option 2 goes ahead.

The 15l ones might prove VERY useful for those with a small under the counter fridge with limited head room? OR those with a compressor shelf.

As stated I am making no money on the 15L (just rounding up for the exchange rate and covering packing) but I am the 10L the costs are the same.

I have started a seperate thread to make it easier to work out how many people want if you are interested in 10L please post in this thread viewtopic.php?f=8&t=75734 even if you have already posted here. I will have a look next week to see if it can move forward.

These at £85.00 still work out £20.00 cheaper than if you tried to import / buy one yourself from China Direct, so £85.00 with everything thrown in is IMO a good price, for what is essentially a specialist sized keg.

I'm leaning more towards getting some more 20L kegs now at those prices lol. Thanks for the work you've done so far looking into them for us. Great work
