Under carb'd

Post by gibbiem » Fri Mar 21, 2014 10:54 pm

Massively under carb'd brew. First time I've batch carb'd. Added 4g per litre of caster sugar for an ipa. I boiled water first, added the sugar then added to the beer then bottled. Its been a week now and its flat as a pancake! Any ideas how I can save it? It's too flat for drinking. I'm thinking about pouring it all into a pb with more sugar and then drink from that? Cheers

Give the bottles a shake and leave it another week. I've had beer take a while to ferment again :)
Cheers and gone,

I would leave it for 2 more weeks and then cold condition for 2 (cold storage will help co2 to be absorbed back into beer)

Daft question... Once I've cold crashed, do I store back at room temp for a bit then chill and drink or can I just drink straight from the cold crash?
