Hello Everyone,
Just re-read my subject line and I really shouldn`t have any empty PB`s should I?
My question is this, If I store an empty PB in my shed after thoroughly cleaning and sanitising with VWP, should I store it dry and empty or
store it with about a gallon of VWP liquid in it? Obviously before the next use it will get cleaned again.
Just reading another post on here about keeping the PB out of the sunlight for fear of contamination. Would the sunlight really effect a Beer in a PB
considering the thick plastic that they are made from? Obviously I would not store it in direct sunlight but you might get the odd ray of sunshine that
hits it as the sunlight passes by.

Best practice for storing Empty PB`s.....?

Store it dry I would imagine. Don't think it matters too much
Cheers and gone,

I put a black bag over mine when full of beer in an effort to keep as much light off the beer as possible.

Store all kit well cleaned and dry IMO.
When full of beer then I do as above and put a black bin bag over the FV/PB (if it's light permeable)

I also store dry and stick a black bin bag over when there's beer in it, though how come they sell some nice bitters - Old Speckled Hen for example - in clear bottles? Why's that not affected by light?
I left some syphoning tube in VWP for a couple of weeks, and it went noticeably cloudier, though that's a different type of plastic.
