I've just acquired a couple of pin lock kegs, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the whole thing. One thing which concerns me with my pin lock keg is that as far as I can see, they don't seem to have a pressure relief valve. Presumably it would be ok to have on at the regulator except I can't seem to find a regulator with one here either. Does anyone know of a source of co2 regs with pressure relief, or is there some kind of screw-in regulator pressure release valve out there?
On another note, is it a good idea to go straight to john-guest everything like this guy?

Or would it be better/good enough to just have john guest on a few of the more important connections and save myself a bit of money?
Thanks for your help!
CO2 regulators: pressure relief valve
Re: CO2 regulators: pressure relief valve
Don't know how else you would do connections. I'd go JG for all.
e bay search for primary co2 regulator should pull up something like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/beer-larger-e ... 1c42dd54b3
I would prefer ones with 2 gauges and also look for secondary regulators. Alternative is a gas management board which also come up on e bay from time to time.
I would avoid welding regulators as they do not usually have the same kind of PRV's

Re: CO2 regulators: pressure relief valve
Great, thanks for the advice. I can't see anything suitable on ebay sadly - the only primaries appear to be guage-less. BrewUK have one, but I'm pretty sure it's a converted welding reg (with psi reading guages) :s I've emailed that Norm guy who is sometimes recommended, but do you/anyone have anywhere else you'd suggest to look?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Check with Rob - looks as if it may have a PRV
