CO2 line vent?

Post by Steve B » Sun Jul 27, 2014 2:23 pm

My cornies are in my cellar - which entails going outside, unlocking a door, going downstairs etc etc. The lines run through to our kitchen where both the beer tap and the co2 cylinder is. I'd like to be able to vent any excess pressure from the kitchen/co2 bottle side of things without having to leg it into the cellar. What could I fit to my CO2 line in order to do this?

Many thanks!

I would fit a T or Y piece onto the gas line just after the bottle. An inch or 2 of gas line and a JG tap/ball valve. Just open to vent!

No probs.
I do the same thing with a Sankey Keg connector and a ball valve fitted to a Y piece!
